I can't believe this the other clematis I ordered i.e Mrs N Thompson has
just started to flower, photo in link.

It looks exactly like the "The President" which I ordered from a
different company.Â* Both plants seems to be Piilu.

Does anyone know if the clematis plants come from the same source?
The Mrs N Thompson was ordered from J Parkers.

Impossible to answer here. You'd need to contact your suppliers as
there are a number of specialist wholesale clematis nurseries. Your
suppliers may have had similar comments/complaints from other
customers, and may be prepared to give you a refund.

You could try asking the British clematis society, who list some
commercial producers, (but I suspect not all, as they only seem to
list those also selling direct to the public).

and there's Guernsey clematis, who specialise

Thank you so much for all the info.Â* I am most puzzled as to how this
has happened.

Quite often the whole sale producer will have supplied multiply sources
and since we propagators tend to take cuttings from last years cuttings
we never get to see the plants flower!, its very easy to get a mix up.
Anyway the nursery who supplied the plants should replace or refund
