Default [IBC] San Jose Juniper questions

Dunno about bark scrubbing, I've not tried it on mine.

By heavily pinching juvenile needle like growth you can eventually
encourage it to mostly produce mature scale like growth.

Cheers

Subject: [IBC] San Jose Juniper questions

I'm new to San Jose junipers, so I have a few questions.

Is scrubbing the bark for the red color recommended on this tree? Any
disadvantages?

I assume that the new buds are pinched like any other juniper,
correct?

Any other issues with this species that I should be aware of?
