Does this mean you installed the bottom drain before filling? I guess some
do it this way. I like to fill and drain before cutting the liner, that
way
the water works the liner into all the corners so there won't be any
pull/stretch on the bottom bulkheads or pipe boots. ~ jan

Even worse...I installed...lined...and then filled...and that's when I
remembered that I had not bought a large clamp for the bottom drain. So
right now, I have a Beckal Boot on my bottom drain with no clamp. Over the
past week...I do not detect any water loss. Of course, I must mention that
my ground here is like concrete. The builders took the top soil away when
they built the houses. Just a few hours after digging the ground is rock
hard, and nearly impenetrable. I dug the hole, and dug the trench for the
bottom drain pipes. I then waited a few weeks. Then I put the plumbing in
and backfilled with a wet slurry of this material and waited for it to dry.
My pipe is nearly cemented into the ground. If it ever moves/leaks...I will
be surprised. I hope I did not just jinx myself.
