| There are some outdoor plants down here (not in my garden!), but to be
| honest they are are shadow of what you see in sunny climes so I am not
| convinced its worth the effort, They do best on south walls with a

large
| overhang which keeps them dry (you have to water in summer)

Interesting. But just until the first significant winter - even
Cornwall gets them on occasion!

Regards,
Nick Maclaren.

We have just had one :~), lost allsorts of stuff I had been quite smug
about! presently growing on several Pandoreas and Hibbertias to replace
plants (although I notice one or two trying from the base, they never come
to much the second time) and trying something's I have not previously tried
outside, I sometimes plant out batches of seed grown plants to allow the
winter to select the hardiest forms before propagating (sometimes at the
expense of flower colour/size!)
Life would be simpler If I stuck to the straight and narrow :~)
