My mother gave me an idea for vases to give away. Use a can, like you get corn
in, and wrap it with wrapping paper. I cut a square of paper and tie it with a
ribbon. If you only have one or two roses tie the paper around the stems and
it will hold them upright. I've used birthday paper for birthdays, comics
pages from the newpaper and tissue paper. It's basically free and fits in the
cupholder in my car so I don't have to worry about spilling water or the
flowers wilting. With a little imagination you can create some very pretty
flower holders.
