I agree with Pam. Why don't you and your wife come up with a list of
plants you'd like to see, and then sit down with your designer and
figger out what will and won't work with your zone, soil, light, etc.,
colors, scents (or not), and placements.

thanks for the quick response - i guess our trouble is that we don't
know enough about different varieties to know what we like. We're
going to move the azaleas to other locations around the house.
