I sowed some basil recently, and lo and behold I have a tray of about 50
million sprouting cheerily in the direction of up.

I'm now pricking them out, and am putting one plant per pot. Is this right?
Should I be putting more in per pot?


One basil plant per pot will be plenty, they can grow quite large. Treat
them as tender, keep them well watered but not waterlogged and take off
any stems which are running to seed. The leaves freeze well if you have
a surplus.
