Foxes usually prefer a raised stone or log to deposit it on; they are
marking territory. I suggest you re-mark the territory as not-for-foxes,
either with your own urine and a watering can, or borrow some dog poohs.
Even just hanging a well-worn shirt nearby might be enough of a
deterrent.
