We live in Western New York in a 3y/o home. On our window sills and Patio
door sills we have very small red specks (mites) that come out in the day
when it gets warmer. They are also on the exterior of our home on the siding
and up near the soffit. In the evening they are gone and the winter they
don't exist. They seem to have a life span of about 48 hours. We have been
vaccuming them up but what are they and how do we get rid of them?
