Default Are armadillos pests?

They are grub specialists and can aerate a yard pretty good by poking holes
with their snouts. Sometimes in looking for grubs they get a little over
zealous and turn over some plants, but my experience with them has never
shown them to be a problem -- only a benefit as they will rid your grass of
grub worms.

Sounds like you have a whole tassel of them!

I found few armadillos in my backyard.
They have several burrows or hiding spots in the yard - under large rocks,
large tree trunks, etc.
Are they harmful to the yard, house, foundation, etc?
Should I leave them alone, or should I get rid of them?
If I should get rid of them, what is the best way to do it without harming
them?
