We live near a rural area and have wild lilacs growing in fields all over
the
area. Since the local nursary charges $49.95 a shrub I plan on diggin up
some
of these wild sweet smeelin Lilacs and give them a good home in my yard.
All land is owned by somebody. You should ask before you dig up plants even
if they appear to be growing in the "wild." Part of my lot is wooded and
occasionally I find people wondering around as if it were a county park. If
I found someone digging up plants they would be dealing with the police.
