Like from the white cliffs of Dover. If you draw a line on concrete, ants
will be loathe to cross it. Being cheap and skeptical, I just used chalk. It
is not the cure all.

My guess is that the chalk (or could it really me the expensive magic stuff)
absorbs chemicals deposited by ants that other ants follow.
