Default Miltoniopsis Cherry Red x Jonora?

The culture sheet definitely would make you think twice about milts, but he
is a breeder so we had better take notes. I have a few of these, should
bloom this year, guess I should switch to rain water, what about a pur
filter? I have a temperature swing up here in the mountains so no problem
there.

A guest speaker at one of our OS meetings reinterated that the milts don't
like a lot of fertilizer. I think that was what was turning the leaf tips
brown, I havent seen any brown leaves since I backed off with the feedings.
This article states 1/4 strength, higher in nitrogen- I'm going to give it a
shot. I get new leaves, and maybe a spike is peeking- or a wrinkled leaf,
not sure yet- i can't wait to finally see my milt "RED KNIGHT" in person

I reciently bought a nice little milt. from a reputable distributer. It

is
labled Milt. Hajime Ono, which apears to be the grower's name. On his

site,
http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/...7765/ono2.html is a photo of a
Miltoniopsis Cherry Red x Jonora that is the exact twin of the one I have.
Does anyone know anything more about this plant?

Second question. This is my first milt. There are several culture sheets
out there; the one at http://miltoniopsis.com/cult.htm is enough to scare
one away. Is this excessive, or not?
