My friend had a mess of a climbing rose bush all tangled with
honeysuckle from the other side of the fence. Instead of cutting the
whole mess down, she insisted on getting rid of the honeysuckle. It
was a ridiculous feat with both of us left literally scarred the
bleeding. The rosebush died. The honeysuckle lives on 9 yrs. later.
