Default Help identifying 2 Roses

Hi again Theo

I will go right now and check, but it is alll pink...so will look under
pink, or rose. Since it is an older rose, I am fairly certain it isn't one
of the newer ones like McCartney rose or Barbara Streisand. I thought it
might be Tropicana since I had once had that rose.....

Theo

it does look like America, but it is definitely not a climber...I have

had
it over 5 yrs....did America have a Hybrid Tea or grandiflora? I think

it
is one of those sizes...buds were not orange---seemed red or dk rose, I
think? The rose is really more like that first picture in color....the
second shot made it look more salmon, which it isn't.

Hey Linda

I can take stabs at it but
there are about a thousand roses
that have the same pink blend color
it is often impossible to be sure.

Go to the link above.
Select pink blend and see how many pop up.
You could flip through.

To just give you a short list of roses
you could match them against try McCartney rose, Barbara Streisand

Admiral rodney,etc

And any idea what that other rose is? It is a climber.

Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,

The second shot looks a lot like
my climbing America.

Are the buds orange? I have one coming along, but the buds a bright
orange and I'm scared.

Yup! Bright orange. It does
mellow to that salmon pink.
For some reason the blooms this year
are twice the size of last year.

Most of my basals are still
a shocking red too. Looks wierd right
now.
