Found a nice woody looking Rue (Rutus, national herb

woody herbs treated the same as bonsai? How about the
collection process? I have two other very nicely
trunked herbs in the front garden.
I would treat them much the same as any other woody plant. Rue
would make great mini-bonsai. Be careful, through, many species
of rue have an irritant in their leaves that can cause a rash in
those who are sensitive to it. As far as collection goes, that
too would be standard -- get as much rootball as you can and
you'll be OK.
And welcome aboard (back).
