"the good stuff" I can't remember if it is 53 or 57 per cent
glyphosate should be mixed at 2%. That is 2 1/2 table spoons per
gallon. If you are using a wick applicator add an extra 2 table
spoons. If you mix it any stronger you are going to burn the plant
tissue and translocation will not happen.

what I have is "the good stuff"- I received it many moons ago from a friend in the business who told me it was
"stout stuff."..I see now that I need to actually dilute it to do any good..

Roundup is retailed in a variety of concentrations, not just one.
I've seen it all the way from ready made spray bottles requiring no
dilution, to 50% concentrations where a gallon costs $90 and makes 80
gallons of solution.

How true! Just one of my pet peeves is the adds in the paper for
Roundup concentrate with a great looking price, and when you get there
it is one of the none-concentrated concentrates (if that makes any
sense).

Since he was given the roundup and has no label, there is no way of
knowing what concentration he has. I guess he could try something
along the dilution you suggested and experiment.

hello all-we are actually having a spring here in Memphis! I have an old
glass container of roundup (the good stuff-concentrate) I was thinking
of using a small sponge paintbrush dipped in the roundup concentrate to
kill nutgrass and ground ivy in my bermuda grass lawn. As long as the
wet sponge makes contact with the unwanted weeds do you think this will
be sufficient for their demise?

the correct mixture for concentrate is 6 fl ounces (12 tbls) per
