Aerangis citrata needs help
Hello,
I'm growing an Aerangis citrata in Rome in a pot in front of a
window looking to south-est.
The plant is very small (about 1 inch high and 3 inches wide).
A bigger Phalaenopsis casts its shade over it.
I water it once a week and fertilize it with a 19-19-19 every three
weeks.
I've got two problems.
First: the main stem (not the flowering one) and the latest grown
leaves show brown-yellowish irregular areas as if they were dried.
Second: I noticed very small dirty-white aphids in the bark.
The plant is now ready to flower.
I've never grown Aerangis before.
What can I do to solve my problems and give the plant a better life?
Thank in advance,
Carlo
