I used to post in this newsgroup a few years ago. I didn't have
newsgroups set up on my PC, so I just lurked through google groups the
last few months as I have become more involved in the hobby lately.
This is one topic where I need to step up to the plate and post.

I can't say anything about Frank as a businessperson, but I can
comment on the type of person he is. I had a terrible case of fish TB
in my tank a few years ago. Anyone familiar with this disease knows
how little is really understood about it. In fact, many books suggest
you just kill the fish and put them out of their misery. I sustained
heavy losses in my 75G tank. Everyday more fish would die and I was
reaching out to anyone who could help. I emailed Frank as he had
helped out some other people in fish forums. Frank and I exchanged
many, many emails. Eventually he narrowed down the problems and was
able to recommend a medication and told me how to dose at much higher
levels than recommended on the bottle to create an effective
treatment. I eliminated fish TB because of Frank. I still have some
fish alive today that I do not believe would be without his help.

Frank and I have never met. I obviously have not done business with
him, but I really feel he is genuinely dedicated to the hobby and I
would do business with him. I have a tank teardown planned in a few
weeks, so this is a bad time for me to buy live small animals. But in
a few weeks, I will place an order with Frank.
