Many here overseed bermuda with fescue rather than rye grass. Fescues
are more persistent but not enough to compete with any bermuda
cultivars.

Maybe I will try it in the back where bermuda has over taken the St. Augustine.
Either way, it's nice to know of something other than the two turf grasses most
of us southwest/midsection have to grow.
