Default Review of "Greenhouse Gardener's Companion" coming

Well, I changed news servers today (to a free one in Germany), so I lost
the thread where Pat asked for a review of the book.

Daddio picked the book up in town last night and I've skimmed it. So far, it
looks excellent. Give me a couple of days to do a thorough reading and I'll
give you a decent review. (I grew up in my mom's greenhouses. She was an
African Violet hybridizer and a commercial nurseryman. Raising us hooligans
bored her, so she started a mail-order live plant business in our backyard.
We learned how to propagate and repot as soon as we were tall enough to
reach the potting benches. So I have a solid background in greenhouse
operation.)

Amazon.com has this book for sale for $16, IIRC. You could go look there and
see if anyone has reviewed it yet. I paid $23 for it at the local bookstore.

(Support your local merchants when you can, folks. Fight the
Wally*World-ization of America. They're putting mom/pop businesses
out of business. Those mom's & pop's are your neighbors and they'll hire
your kids in the summertime and do special orders for you any time. _And_
they'll remember your name, your dog's name and ask how your mom is
doing...)
