Award Certré International is a $1,000
grant for the most harmonious marriage of bonsai
and container. Unlike BOIDA, the artist/entrant
may be an amateur or a professional. The bonsai
must have been part of the artist's personal
collection for a minimum of three years. The
bonsai pot must be a footed clay container with
drainage holes, and may be glazed or unglazed.

Again, in spite of the substantial award,
entries are slow in arriving. The deadline for
submission is midnight CDT on 1 July 2003 for this
year's competition.
