I have tried the mole traps, mole poison, ground grub killer, but I've have
more success using the garden hose. When I seen a new path (runners) I pack
them down. As soon as I seen new activity in the area I force the garden
hose down in the channel and flood it for a while, then I might pull it out
and move it to the other end (a few feet away). Some times a mole will
surface which I beat over the head or just drown with the water in the face.
It's not a pretty site, but they can really F'up your yard and plants.
