I haven't done it yet myself but I can tell you there are zero mosquitos on
town lake near the bat bridge.

*Supposedly*, the particular breed of mosquito in Austin is not
attracted to them. The best luck people have had is with spraying
permethrin (sp?) which I think is not bad for pets (someone correct me
if I'm wrong!). We just got some from Home Depot and plan to spray
soon.
