Default Can somebody help me

i put my pump in a large size whispers bio bag, left over when my #6
whispers filter died. then i put the pump-in-bag into a plastic hanging
basket and cover the pump with large size aquarium gravel. i lower the
hanging basket into the pond and catch the hook on the side of a planter. in
this position, the pump sits about 3 inches above the bottom of the pond so
that if, for some reason, it should pump the pond dry, it will burn out the
pump before it empties the pond. i have to clean the bag about once every 10
days.

Subject: Can somebody help me

I want to build a prefilter for my pump using a bucket and pea gravel. i
don't know how to keep the gravel from going in the pump. Also how to
run the pipe into the bucket, or should I just put the pump under the
gravel?

thanks
Mike
