Bonnie, do you remember what type of pool the filter came from or do you
have a manufacturer's name on the filter itself? I'm curious because we
currently have a 12 foot diameter pool that we hope to replace with a
larger one, and if I can use that filter on the pond as a leaf filter it
will simplify my life ... a little. Our filter has a side intake, a
paper filter, and a mag drive pump at the bottom which sends the water
back to the pool through a hose. I thought that replacing the paper of
the filter with some type of looser mesh would work as a leaf filter ...
maybe?

Hi Kathy,
I have no idea of the name, but it was a leaf basket the you
attach to a sand filter not a paper filter. It was at my
son's house when he purchased the home.
