Default HELP!!! Need rec. for Sealer for cracks in cement

You can mix Behr 60 acrylic mix (sold at home depot in the paint section for
some reason) with 1 part cement and 3 parts fine sand (play sand works
good). Use the Behr instead of using water. Mix it to a paste and spread it
on. Concrete is porous to 5 inches. This mixture is porous to 1/4".

When you let concrete cure make sure you keep the surface wet at all times
otherwise it will crack. Cement uses water for it's chemical reaction. It's
not like glue where if it dries out it's done. With cement if it dries out
it stops getting hard. Keep wet for 28 days - yep that sucks but that's the
magical day that concrete reaches it's hardest point most quickly. By that I
mean it cures VERY hard FAST by day 28 but continues to cure as long as
there's water within very slowly (think years and years).

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how to seal cracks in cement to stop leaks? I just made
this cement pond and stream and the cement cracked as is was drying.

Thanks
for any help.
