Default Why mow bermuda so low?

(Greg) wrote in message . com...
Everything I read says that bermuda should be kept between 3/4" to 1"
but never does it say why? Is this because of the look or is there a
real reason to mow this short?

Thanks,
Greg

Because Bermuda grass is a spreading grass (unlike Fescues which are
bunch-type grasses), it can withstand being cut short. There's no
real reason as to why, except that at more than an inch is starts
looking scraggly. Just remember, however, that it's your lawn, and it
has to look good to you.

Good Luck
