Default Taking cuttings of antique roses

Harriet,

I'm just passing along along a link that Cass posted earlier to the
newsgroup about rooting cuttings:
http://www.ars.org/explore.cfm/propagation/

On the off chance that it might save someone from spam, I didn't copy quite
all the info (but I *thought* that I saw a very clever spam-proofing address
for Cass' earlier post).

Speaking of spam -- does anyone else share the notion that we recipients
are like "Lady Justice with the scales"? i.e., we're supposed to balance
what goes up (Viagra ad) vs. what goes down (mortgage rate)?

Bah dum bum

Sorry, sorry, it sounded much funnier when I read it out loud before I
posted!

I have searched through several search engines, and each site seems to

have
a different idea. Does anyone have personal experience?
My neighbor is 92, and is encouraging me to take cuttings of her beautiful
antique white rose. I would love to have some as it blooms off and on

year
round, as long as the temperatures don't stay below 20 degrees for more

than
a couple of days at a time.
