With woody climbers, layering is usually a good bet. It is dead
easy and needs little equipment or attention. If they won't layer,
they probably won't take from cuttings at all readily.

Very true, in the case of Jasmines they are also very easy from
cuttings, 2" long internodal any time in summer, on bottom heat,
should root 100% in 3 weeks. HTH
