The one you have tentatively identified as honeysuckle isn't, I'm pretty
confident. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks more like hops to

I think the sedum (ll Unidentified) is a stonecrop variety. You'll know in
the late summer/autumn if you get flattish heads of tiny blooms, kinda
similar to the way a yarrow blooms, in a shade of pink, red or rust.

The other plant, (ll Unidentified) looks like mint. It might very well be a
loosestrife, but my yellow loosestrife doesn't look *quite* like that when
it comes up. If if is a loosestrife, it should be in bloom now, here's a

more what it appears to be to me.

really invasive plant. It spreads by barely covered (sometimes you can
actually see it nearly on top of the soil) fleshy purplish root runners. To
keep my mints in check, I find a two litre pop bottle with the bottom cut
off and the neck made a little wider, with a few rocks in the neck end and
filled with soil and buried with the bottom edge just an inch or so above
soil level and the mint planted in it does a pretty good job of keeping it
under control. Wow, that sentence is very confusing! Anyway, hope you get

I finally got some time to upload pictures of my garden. We just
moved into our house in December so most of the things sprouting up in
my garden are a mystery to me! I do get lots of help from my boss in
identifying things, but I don't want to be a nuisance!

So far I am loving the garden, seems that someone put lots of work
into it before i came along!

I really don't know if the plant labelled cotoneaster is that. When
the snow melted there were some red berries on the vine. It is pretty
invasive, I tried to move the branches to make them grow in the other
direction in my garden. If anyone can verify that it is some species
of cotoneaster, or suggest something else that it may be, it would be
greatly appreciated!
