While there are many other articles out there in cyberland, you can simply do a
search on cca treated wood, or pressure treated wood and no matter how you cut
it, exposure to arsenic is certain when handling it.

How much of it gets in through your skin is another study in the works. The
organic industry is trying to have it phased out and replaced with many other
alternatives.

Since you already bought this cca wood, you can seal it with an oil based
sealant, but I don't like the effect THOSE have on the environment, either!

So, rock and hard place.

Do the research and make a decision based on University studies, along with
other claims and studies.

I, no matter how tempting it is, will not ever use it. If it kills one worm in
the soil it's too much, IMO.

One last thing. The molecular structure of cca is in a state which root hairs
indeed can uptake the whole molecule. It's a very complicated study, but I do
believe cca will be phased out.
