Default Blackberry and Plum help

Hi

Apologies for sticking two problems under one post.

Anyway, problem one is that my fine crop of red blackberries are slowly
turning red, but as they do so, so of the berries aer turning a sort of
brown/grey colour. Anyone got any idea what this is or whether they're
ok to eat?

Similarly, my crop of plum trees seem to have a large amount of fruits
where a fly or something seems to have burrowed in. The only evidence is
the dried sap hanging from the bottom of the fruit/ (Pictures on the
same link above)

We had this problem and we did eat the fruit although we kept an eye out
for wriggles! However, it does mean that we can't really offer an of the
fruit to friends. Any ideas how I can combat/prevent this for next year?

Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions

Cheers

Mike
