Can this be right??

There are 4 cups of chopped rhubard (about 1 ltr.)

Any ideas?

My mother always measured her wine ingredients in a pint jug,
and a quart (quarter of a gallon) equals 2 pints.

I can't think that that would be much more than four pounds
or so of fruit?
