The weather is near perfect this summer! Strawberries are running two
weeks behind so I figured the black berries and blue berries will be a week
or two behind also. We have company headed our way in August and
will take a trip north to Bar Harbor. We love it up there!

Oh, I forgot about the wild strawberries! They were a bonus, they
grow in the driveway, of all places, up in front of the garage. So I
had fresh blueberries and fresh 'fraise du bois' (I know I mangled
that) on my cereal last weekend. The strawberries were so fragrant
and flavorful! Not nearly enough of them, though.
