You only put this on dead wood. There is not anything alive under the
dead. You don't put it anywhere there is bark.

Seems what you all are saying for bourgie soil mix is
70% organic 30% inorganic or 70% pourus 30% non porous

I am not sure of percentages. And I am not clear what you mean by
pourus.
