Hello all

While on a holiday to pool earlier this year I came across some palms, and
coming out of the top were some seed's. so i had a word with the gardener and
asked if I could have some. He said yes and told me that they would come to
nothing.

Well I must have been lucky as most of them did grow, although it took a very
long time before they come up. my wife's friend seems to think they need
splitting up, because from one seed you get up to 4 plants ?. Can someone
please advise me on this.

Also does anyone know how long it will take before they develop a trunk ? are
there any sites you could recommend I look at for advice.
