Default cleaning rocks ?

Maybe a power washer, like you'd use on your siding or deck? My husband
bought me an electric one (what a genius -- no gasoline fumes) for the
deck, and I immediately thought of about 100 things to use it
for........just as soon as it cools off!

If the rocks aren't going to be in the pond, or water won't wash over them
into the pond, you might try TSP (trisodium phosphate) with a brush or power
washer. I'd be concerned about using chemicals on rocks going into a pond,
though, as I have no idea whether the rocks would retain the chemicals.

I have freshly unearthed rocks with red clay stains. I tried scrubbing

with a
stiff brush but the red is stubborn. Anyone deal with this before, what

did you
use to clean them?
