Default Ouch !!!! Lotus has thorns

The only lily I know of that has "thorns" is the Victoria, the ones that are
HUGE and whose leaves have a "lip" on them. When I say "huge", I *mean*
huge: there are photos of Victorian era ladies standing on the lily pads.

Is that what you have? O'wise, I don't know of any lilies that have thorns.
I'm not saying that I know of every lily OUT there, it's just that the
Victoria is the only "thorned" one I know of. They come from the Amazon
basin . . .
