Aye, that they do.. Some of em!.. Depends on the species but its one of
the attractions folk buy 'em for!

The only problem now is getting a hydraulic platform through the house
to top the b*gg*r again!

Depending on the species and how old it is you may be able to coppice
instead.. Assuming its not too close to a building this may be an
easier option..
