Well, there are `tile' and then again there are `tile'. A drainage tile line
will lead water downgrade. A `french drain' is a perforated tile which allows
water from the soil to seep into the tile whence it may be led off by a drainage
tile line or pumped off through a drainage tile line. One has to consider cost
in such a system whether talking about a low `spot' in lawn or the City of New
Orleans.
