She may have lost her earlier interest in bonsai as she grew up

found boyfriends, but hasn't lost the ability to keep plants
healthy
(given sufficient financial incentive;-).

What you need is to find a good-looking (rich) boy with good
manners who also likes bonsai (or at least growing things). Then
introduce the two of them -- casually, of course. They NEVER
like the ones they know they're being set up with. ;-)
