Yes, rpm..... it should be cut hard back to within 30cm of the ground in early spring and then cut back to the lowest strong growth buds as they appear. You may restrict the number of stems allowed to grow away or leave them all. Gravetye Beauty is one of the weakest growing of the Texensis group but a very nice one in my view.
