I have a front lawn that is divided by a walk with 3 foot shrubs on
each side of the walk. I just got an oscillating sprinkler, and
placing it in the middle of the walk doesn't get the water over the
shrubs. I need to raise it up to clear the bushes. I have the
Gardena
Aquazoom. Are there tripods, or something made to raise this higher
so
I can water both sides of the lawn at once?
I believe tripod sprinklers are not hard to find but are a bit
expensive. I bought one at Home Depot a few years ago.and I recently
saw one at Lowe's. Most are only 3-4 feet high. Mine can extend to
about 6 feet but over 4 feet it gets a bit unstable at full supply
pressure. It has a 1/2 inch IP fitting and you can mount one of those
Rain Bird impulse type whirly-gig sprinklers on it and adjust it to
cover an arc from about 15 deg to a full 360. Try googling with "tripod
sprinkler" or "raintower" There is a photo of one at
