Default rooting white mulberry

Mulberries are easy to root. Take a 6 inch long cutting of soft growth and
peel all the leaves off except for the very top ones. If the top ones are big
you can cut them in half to reduce water evaporation. Stick the cuttings in
potting soil and keep them in the shade. Misting them from time to time helps.
You can use a rooting hormone but it probably isnt necessary. If you are in
zone 6 or less you might want to keep the rooted cuttings at arround 40 degrees
over winter. You dont want them outside because they may not survive with such
a small root system, but you dont want them above 40 because you want them to
go dormant. A cold garage would work as long as its not too cold.
