Default [IBC] Yaupon Holly

Yaupon Holly is a native tree.* The plant most often seen for sale is the
Schillings dwarf form.* Properly Ilex (holly) vomitoria (because the Native
Americans used the berries as an emetic to induce vomiting) "Schillings" (for the
name of the nursery man who discovered the dwarf cultivar).* However since the
original plant was a male, and the cultivar is grown from cuttings all the
Ilex vomitoria "Schillings" are male plants. Hollies are male and female on
different plants.
