Default Wintering Koi

yes, as long as pristine water conditions can be maintained. it is best to have the
kind of biofilter that can be moved from pond indoors with the fish, and have it up
and running on the pond for a month before moving the fish inside. move them in
before the pond water temp falls below 55oF. Ingrid

Will small koi grow quicker if brought indoors over winter and kept in
indoor pond rather than leaving outside in a zone 5 pond?
