Out of curiosity, who on the list was involved at
this early stage? I saw a post from Iris Cohen from
sometime in 1995.
Anyone else?

I think I was lurking late in '95, talking in '96, and
have to say it made a lot of changes in the way I was
dispensing my time and money. I do think occasionally of
those days - of Dan and Hud and the Haikumatic, Phil,
Goeline, Sandy, Bonsaimura in Sweden and others occasionally
are recalled by some advice they gave that stayed with me. My
first convention was in l996, an ABS event.
Seems to me a surprising number of old-timers still here
really.
I wonder what all that proves - we love bonsai, we like
bonsai people, or have fallen into a habit.
