Default automatic sprinklers and water pressure

It sounds like either the valves are too small for your application or they
are not opening fully. I had put in auto valve on my sprinkler system and
it worked flawlessly for a while, then I noticed that the pressure was not
nearly as robust as it use to be when first installed (was only about 2
weeks) and called the water company who told me there was no problem with
the pressure in the area. I replaced the auto valve system back to a simple
ballcock valve and presto I had full pressure again. I suspect that my new
valve went faulty and wasnt letting enough water through it.

I had automatic lawn sprinklers installed and have had low pressure
from the sprinklers since then. Th line pressure is MORE than what is
expected so it must have something to do with this new set-up. No new
sprinklers were added so this can't be the answer. I now have brown
spots where the sprinklers don't reach. Was this a bad installation
job or any ideas? Thanks.
