Depending on where you live, you might be able to find the
rhizomes/tubers in an Asian market catering to Japanese customers. I
have seen it in Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, and San Jose,
CA.

Be aware that it is relatively difficult to grow unless you have a
mild climate and plenty of very fresh cool water.
